Luke 4:4 you knew the Word’ you knew we would need more than ‘bread’ for our souls, Luke 13:34 _you longed for your children to know you, .. you discerned our thoughts’ … you felt deeply, you wept, you sorrowed over your own people, you loved to see faith ‘you were astonished at the lack of faith’ in people who had witnessed God’s power, his glory, you were distressed in the garden beyond our comprehension , … your compassion Luke 7:13_your soul was grieved Mark 14:34 you got angry at injustices’ godlessness, Mark 3:5, you set your face like a flint toward Jerusalem _you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt your purpose, the why of you coming to us, you fought the enemy with a mind set on pleasing the Father , you gave up your ‘spirit’ you rose again with a new body _
Luke 2:33,34
The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him. Luke 3:27 _ Jesus was about 30 years old when he began his public ministry _ 4:16.. he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. Because in Jesus God became human, he is not only the God on the other side of the chasm, he is the bridge over the gap. Thus he is the mediator of a new relationship with God that cannot fail because it is based on his faithfulness , not ours.
